1-Gather: at adex base.

2-Arrive at Orofure Pass: The snowshoeing starts.

3-Forest Snowshoeing: Progress through the untouched beauty of the forest on snowshoes.

4-Snow Field: Walk across a serene snowfield, surrounded by forests on all sides.

5-Hill Climb to the Pass: Move towards the pass, through a vast landscape mixed with trees.

6-Viewpoint: Enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Lake Kuttara, Mount Orofure, Lake Toya, Mount Yotei, and the Pacific Ocean.

7-Forest Snowshoeing: Enjoy downhill snowshoeing after emerging from the snow-covered forest.

8-Arrival at the Entrance of Orofure: Return to adex base and disband.

About adex inn

Nestled in the heart of Noboribetsu Onsen, within the untouched nature of Shikotsu-Toya National Park and just a 5-minute walk from the Hell Valley, adex inn offers a convenient location for visitors. Its large communal bath features a natural hot spring with water flowing directly from the source. The rich sulfur spring, unfiltered and dense with minerals, allows guests to see “Yunohana” (hot spring minerals) settled at the bottom of the bath. Enjoy a relaxing stay at Noboribetsu Onsen, where both your mind and body can be healed.

Noboribetsu Onsen

Less than an hour from New Chitose Airport, Noboribetsu Onsen has been a renowned hot spring resort for over 160 years and is widely recognized for its therapeutic effects. With its diverse water quality and abundant flow, it’s known as the “Department Store of Hot Springs” in Hokkaido.

Guests staying at adex inn have free 24-hour access not only to the large communal bath with sulfur spring water directly from the Hell Valley, a Hokkaido Heritage site, but also to the baths at our sister hotel, Dai-ichi Takimotokan, for 2,250 yen. There, in addition to the sulfur spring, you can enjoy four different types of hot springs.
