Located in Kyoto City’s Sakyo Ward, the Heian Shrine (a nationally designated important cultural property) is hosting the night visit event “NAKED YORU MO-DE 2023 at Heian Shrine” from December 1st (Fri) to December 25th (Mon), 2023. Visitors can enjoy an English-guided tour and a special dinner course in collaboration with the Heian Shrine Hall.
A Limited-Time Japanese x French Dinner Course Prepared Exclusively for “NAKED YORU MO-DE 2023 at Heian Shrine” by the Chefs and Pâtissiers of Heian Shrine Hall
Two exclusive set tickets are available, offering a limited-time menu prepared solely for “NAKED YORU MO-DE 2023 at Heian Shrine”. The dinner, a fusion of Japanese and French cuisine featuring seasonal ingredients with a Kyoto twist, includes a six-course meal with a starter of “Yurine Flan and Ankimo Terrine with Tortoiseshell Sauce.” Guests can choose between duck roast and Wagyu beef loin as the main course.
Enjoy a luxurious dinner while overlooking the shrine’s designated scenic garden during “NAKED YORU MO-DE 2023 at Heian Shrine.”

This year, English-guided tours are being conducted from December 16th (Fri) to December 25th (Mon), 2023, on a limited basis, three times a day. These tours offer in-depth knowledge about the exhibition highlights and the history and architecture of Heian Shrine. Additionally, visitors can rent a special “NAKED Distance Lantern®” that synchronizes with the shrine’s light-up, enhancing the experience.
