Creating a Mystical World with Cloud Sea Mist, Themed Around “Okami,” the Water Source Deity from Japanese Mythology

UWS ENTERTAINMENT, a company specializing in aquarium-based entertainment centered around fish, has launched the special winter exhibition “Shirakami” at their art facility “UWS AQUARIUM GA☆KYO,” located in Aqua City Odaiba, a large shopping complex in Minato-ku, Tokyo. This exhibit, combining Japanese tradition and legend with aquarium artistry, offers a unique experience.
Overview of “Shirakami”
“Okami,” a deity in Japanese mythology known for summoning rain and snow and as a guardian of water sources, is vividly brought to life in Area 5 “Ryugu.” Furthermore, in Area 2 “Oiran,” there is a snowfall effect, while Area 4 “Yuraku” features winter illuminations utilizing bamboo and Japanese umbrellas.

Area 4 “YURAKU”: Winter illuminations with bamboo and Japanese umbrellas, reinterpreting traditional Japanese beauty with a modern touch, offering a new and exciting experience for visitors.
Area 5 “RYUGU”: Using cloud sea mist to create the mythical world of the dragon deity “Shirakami.”
